This one came right from the "What the Heck is that Song" forums - be sure to post your questions there!
MusicLover asked:
Anyone know the title to the song in the Coke comercial where the guy is stealing a sip of Coke as he fills his cup from a self serve fountain? Line from song, "I'm a criminal"
And what do you know, MusicLover had the answer!
The name of the song is "I'm a Criminal" by Paul Reddick & The Sidemen (Amazon MP3)
You can find it on "Revue: The Best of Paul Reddick" along with other great tunes.
Have a sip!

HP has a great new computer out that reminds me a lot of the iPhone or iPod Touch. If you've seen the commercial for the HP Touch Smart, you probably liked the song they used. Who sang the music that goes:
Do you Wanna Touch (Yeah)
Do you Wanna Touch (Yeah)
Do you Wanna Touch Me There
Yeah
There
Yeah There ohhh There oh Thereeeee
Well that was none other than Joan Jett and the Black Hearts singing "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)" from the 1998 CD "Bad Reputation."
You can grab it right now from iTunes
or Amazon MP3.
Here's the HP Touchsmart commercial then below that, the original Joan Jett music video:

I've had a lot of questions about the new Target commercial song with a female singer with two girls dancing around and decorating their dorm room, with a reggae salsa latin dance vibe to it.
I have not seen this commercial yet. so I will have to leave this one to you. It one of these two versions of the same song:
I am pretty confident that the version in the commercial is the one by Enur.

Don't have a video of the commercial yet, but you can view the music video and hear the entire song, right here:

Dell just started running a new ad for their color laptops which has a cute girl on a pink motor scooter with a pink helmet and a pink laptop. Catchy lyrics:
I am green today
I chirp with joy like a cricket song.
I am orange today
Loud and messy like fingerpaint on the wall
This song is by Kira Willey and is called "Colors," (Amazon MP3)
from her CD "Dance for the Sun." ![]()

awesome accurate reply- hey, does anyone know the who sings the song in the LATEST Target commercial with the 2 teen girls dancing in their apt, kinda brazilian funk song? sounds like MIA, but I know its not :) thanks!
BRILLIANT!!
I saw she spot during the Office on TBS
I think the Target commercial is a French rap performer.
I'd love to know the name of the song that's been played during the LATEST "Biggest Losers Couples" promo/commercial - anyone?
the latest commercial uses Calabria by Enur feat. Natasja. It's played a lot on the radio here in Texas. it's not on many cds, but you can find a great radio version on "ultra dance 09." 1st track on the 1st cd. if you go to the ultra dance website you can hear a sample of the track.
(on a side note - the danish singer died in a car wreck in 2007.)
enur is the band. calabria is the song
Wondering if anyone knows what music is played in the new Suzuki Sx4 tv ad in Australia ???
This is a TERRIBLE cover, what are people talking about?
It's by Enur. Called Calabria 2007
Thanks for answering this. I've been wondering who did this song for weeks now and it was started to drive me a little nuts.
I kept thinking it was Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit... it sounds just freaking like him!
its a diplo mix
yeah its Enur 2007
OMG UR A PIG!! Or so says the new commercial from ATT featuring the LG Shine. Lyrics? Nothing more than "Oh Yeah."
The song? Um.
How about "Oh, Yeah" by Yellow (amazon)
. As made famous in "Ferris Beuller's Day Off."
Apparently, there is another ad featuring "Heaven Isn't Too Far Away" by Warrant.
If I knew anything about "The Hills" I'd have known that the commercial also featured Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner. Or is it "Laguna Beach?" I'm so out of touch....

thanks...... = :- )
What about the other commercial where the woman singing sounds like like Dolly? Is that her? What's the name of the song?
The new JC Penney ad for Back To School is a great callback to "The Breakfast Club." It features teenage boys and girls dancing and acting like in the movie, and even features the hit song from the movie, though re-made:
Won't you come see about me?
I'll be alone, dancing you know it baby
Tell me your troubles and doubts
Giving me everything inside and out and
Don't You Forget About Me
Don't Don't Don't Don't
Don't You Forget About Me
The JCP commercials feature several different versions of the song. One is "Don't You Forget About Me" by New Found Glory
from their CD "From the Screen to Your Stereo, Pt. II."
... I think.
But are at least 5 verions by other bands (such as Hawk Nelson, Sun Lux and more). Your best bet is the iTunes-only JCPenney offering called "JCPenney Presents: Don't You Forget About Me (The Covers) - EP."
It is - a collection of remakes of DYFAM - six different versions, a great idea!
But I'd be slammed if I didn't mention that the song was originally recorded by Simple Minds
, and is available on the Breakfast Club soundtrack (Amazon) and on iTunes in "Now That's What I Call The 80's" ![]()
And if you have not seen "The Breakfast Club" pick up the DVD, you'll appreciate the J.C. Penney commercial even more.

First off, why is the official HSM3 trailer website (High School Musical 3: Senior Year) so hard to find? Well I have the link, so no worries.
While you watch, listen for one of the new songs on the soundtrack with the lyrics:
16...16...16 minutes left better get it done
16...16...16 more minutes get ready GAME ON!
This is the last time to get it right (GO!)
This is the last chance to make it our night (YEA!)
We gotta show what we're all about (TEAM!) (WILDCATS!)
Work together! (GO!)
That song is "Now or Never" which you can find on the official move soundtrack - pre-order it today, it comes out October 24th 2008!
And, as promised, here is the link to the official HSM3 movie trailer at Disney website. You can download the trailers, and even a few are in HD! You can also watch it right here at the end of this page.

After a long ... time of searching, I found the title to this song. Its "Sacrifice" by Theory of a Dead Man. Hope this helps
I'd wager that you helped more than Nikki on that one! And if you'd like the tune, you can find "Sacrifice"
on the Theory of a Deadman CD "Scars & Souvenirs." ![]()

A recent commercial for Target caught my ear. The female singer sounded familiar when she sang:
I wanna be your satisfaction
Be your number one
And just when you think I can't love you any better
Well, I have just begun
'Cause there's more where that came from
That's right, there's more where that came from
Yep, there is no doubt, I know Dolly Parton when I hear her! Would you have ever expected to hear Dolly in a Target commercial?
Well, in case you liked the happy little honkey-tonk ditty, it is called "More Where That Came From"
and can be found on Dolly Parton's 1993 CD "Slow Dancing With The Moon." ![]()
Here is a look at the original 1993 music video.

Same memories of 6 flags. Skull Island had the cooler slide though. It had the tree slide.(enclosed slide that went ROUND & ROUND getting faster, Spinaker replced that area down there. The had a dolphin show out by the music mill theater enterance back then too(by the canoe rides)
Lion Country Safari was cool.Went a few times. A buddy of mine used to work out there. It was in Grand Prairie north of I-30.Flooded in late 70's & closed down. The stock pods & watering holes for Hipposare still back there if you can find 'em.Been fishing out there before recently.Lots of fish in there.
Help!
I want to know the name of the song in the new Target commercial. It is a female singer. Somewhat raggae with two girls dancing and decorating their dorm rooms. I cannot make out a word the artist is saying but it is so upbeat and fun. I'd love to find it somewhere!

Thank you Promo guy!! I thought it was Dolly but didn't know what the name of this song was. Good to know this web page is out there!
Geekzoid, in our forums, asked:
What is the funky song on the new iTunes commercial that has silhouettes of people dancing to their iPods? I can make out the words, "I ain't freakin', I ain't fakin' this".
MusicLover had the answer:
The song you are looking for is "Shut up and let me go" by the Ting Tings. ![]()
Thanks ML, and by the way, you can find "Shut up and let me go" on the Ting Tings' CD "We Started Nothing." ![]()

Maybe you saw the new promo commercial running this summer on ABC for Ugly Betty & Grey's Anatomy with a song featuring lyrics like:
This whole world will take me down
Without you standing by my side, my side
Your holding onto me
You're making everything inside, come alive
And then I open my eyes
And I know you are beating my heart, beating my heart
Look at the sky
I know youre beating my heart, beating my heart
The song is "Beating My Heart" by Jon Mclaughlin
from the forthcoming CD "OK Now."

Thank you sooo much!!
Ive been going crazy looking up this song on youtube, Google, and even the ABC website just trying to figure out the name!
This is such an awsome song!!
Wow, been a while. Sorry, had some major PC issues, vacations, summer, going outside - and a severe drought of commercials with good music. But we are back!
Today's post is about the Nissan Versa. You don't hear any lyrics in the commercial, just some salsa-ish music in the background.
Can't say it was terribly hard to figure this out (I always like a challenge), this one was a cinch. The song is "I Need To Know" by Marc Anthony
. You can find it on his CD "Marc Anthony." ![]()

Had a few questions about the AT&T commercial where the phones are blooming like flowers. Doma asked:
"what is the song in the new at&t commercial where the phones look like they are blooming flowers?"
And "R" also asked:
"on the new At&t commercial, the one with the high-tech flowers...does anyone know what song that is and who sings it? im not sure if it is an At&T commercial (i think it is) where the song sounds a little older and says something about 'dreaming' there are men singing and a woman that sings over them...sounds a little like Chrisette Michelle?"
Claire had the answer:
"The song in the AT&T commercial with the flowers is Daydreamin' by Lupe Fiasco featuring Jill Scott."
As did Ariel:
"its by Lupe Fiasco and jill scott"
And Beth:
"The song where the phones look like they are blooming on the at&t commercial is by Lupe Fiasco featuring Jill Scott. It is called Daydreamin' on his album. Go to Lupe Fiasco's website. you can view the whole song and video!"
Ii is indeed "Daydreamin'" by Lupe Fiasco with Jill Scott
from the CD "Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor.

Thanks to everyone who helped out Doma!

Looking for song for Ford Fusion Commerical where one guy buys the gas, the other the food.
actually the song Daydream in Blue was first performed by the Belgian group the Wallace Collection. From there it was sampled in a song by the electronic group I Monster, and then sampled by Lupe Fiasco. I'm pretty sure the version in the commerical is the I Monster mix.
thanks i love this song tooooo!!!!!
I just had the same thing happen, I got a GPS, the one that it says street names, I had it for less than a week and couldn't stand her voice, besides I live in an area where there is a 50/40 chance of even having a street sign posted so as long as I can follow the directions on the Garmin I could save the $100 and go with the one that doesn't say street names.
They charged the same 15% restocking fee, which cam to about $45. I asked about it and she gave me attitude and said, "read the back of the receipt", and yup there it was. But seriously it really takes $45 to restock something? She proceeded to tell me they charge this to deter people from buying them for vacation and returning them. Well what about the people who don't do that and just want to return it? I had all the original packaging and receipt.
It deters me from ever purchasing anything from them ever again. I'm actually looking for an SLR and have ruled out going there even if they are cheaper.
I am 72 and this song
lifts my heart so high!
It gives me hope
every time I need it!
Thank you!
I have recently purchased this power player thing, absolutely excited about a few of the more popular games from when I was a kid...especially Super Mario Bros. However, I found that not every one works. There are hundreds of Super Mario Bros. to choose from and I have no clue which one to choose!! None of them so far actually work........
Any advice/help you could offer so that I don't have to sit here and go through 76,000 games?!?!?!???!!!!!
Thanks!!
I just caught the tail end of a new commercial for the AT&T Go Phone with Unlimited Texting or Talk (not sure) commercial (may not even be AT&T). It had a Dad and a son in the garage singing a song together. It srarted with the father singing, then the teenage boy starts and joins him singing "I'll love ya til the end of time, I love you till the end of time!"
Well, I knew I had to post about this song. In case you don't know it, the song is homage to "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf
, from the "Bat Out Of Hell" CD
. The song is really long, and has 3 main sections (Paradise/Let Me Sleep On It/Praying For the End Of Time), the last of which is featured in the commercial. Great song, great CD! And by the way, I am pretty sure that is Meat Loaf himself as the Dad singing in the commercial.
And for those who are looking for the "Kelly Moore" commercial, the one where the Dad is looking for his daughter at make-out point, yelling "KELLY MOORE!!" here it is! Click Read More to see it...
Comments (if any):
You didn't mention that the dad in the garage is Meatloaf, himself.
John
Sure I did!
