From the moment you hear the piano on the AT&T Blackberry Torch commercial, you care captivated. Sure the phone is cool, but what is that song? Who does the music? How can I get it?
First, here is the commercial.
Now, about the music. Some say it is a special AT&T exclusive remix of "Laura" by Scissor Sisters.
Doubtful. It has similar notes, but not identical enough for me to bite.
Others claim it is "stock" music (music that is produced specifically for commercials or trailers) and isn't available for purchase.
Feh.
And still, it is said to be the contracted-only-for-the-commerical work of Eric Maltz from "Peculiar Gentlemen." 
So, who does the music? I beleive that Eric Maltz created a track just for the AT&T Blackberry Torch commercial. And if that is true, the music is not available for purchase.
Maybe AT&T will work something out, It wouldn't be the first time Music from a Commercial became so popular it was released as a single. Stop by their MySpace site and let 'em know you like the tune!

If you saw the new Chase VISA commercial for their Blueprint offering, you know, the one that says "Don't Fix The Leak" then the music might have caught your ear.
Just a cool guitar riff and some crazy samples, but it leaves you wanting more - like, the whole song, right?
Good news, you can have it! The song is called "Connection"and it is performed by Elastica . I admit, I'd never heard of them other than this song. But Wikipedia says they were formed in 1992 and "Elastica were a British alternative rock band that played punk rock-influenced music." Did you know this song is from their 1995 album "Elastica" ? I didn't but I intend to check 'em out.

Just because it is such a great Promo, and a great song, I just had to post this. Did you catch the commercial for the new J.J Abrams show on NBC?
The show is called "Undercovers" and looks to be action-packed, and best of all, it is about SPIES!
And the music used in the commercial was by none other than Gipsy Kings, and the song was "Bamboleo."
