Except for last night. Dog gone it!

I got my first traffic ticket last night. Well, first one in like 20+ years.

I allegedly overlooked a “No Right Turn” sign on the way home, that wasn’t there before, but is now due to road construction.…

A reader calling his/her/them self “Linda” left a comment for me that I feel is totally off-target. In her reply to my post on the winner of “Last Comic Standing” she said:

The Oklahoma City Gazette, our local alternative weekly newspaper (all towns have those, don’t they?), did an article on Blogs and there was NOT ONE mention of PromoGuy dot net! Hey I may not be the most popular Blog in Oklahoma but there were NO Oklahoma Bloggers in the article at all!…

I don’t know where the pop ups are from!

But there must either be a post or some code hack in here that causes it.

It must be me. But every time I see a “legitimate” Journalist use the phrase “Blogosphere” to describe Bloggers, it just makes me cringe.

I just despise that term. I can’t say why. Maybe it is for the same reason I groan when I hear those same “Journalists” use the term “information superhighway” and pair it with clever phrases like “off-ramp” or “fast lane.”

The Sysadmin at work has blocked several ranges of IPs from our Mail Server due to spam. It seems to be helping, yet I still get about 100 spam e-mails here (thanks to all the domains I’ve registered here with that address).…
