Is the color between black and white spelled "Gray" or "Grey"?
As it turns out, both are correct. Sort of.
Much like "color" and "colour" it depends on where you live. In most of the rest of the world, "Grey" is used (my favorite - if it is good enough for a crayon, it is good enough for me). In the good ol' US of A, well, we have to be difficult. We toss out the "e" and stuff in an "a."
Still, in most cases, it won't matter which you use.

By the way, I am always pronouncing "color" as "collar." I sound like a hick when I do that.
Now if I could only remember to spell "lose" as "lose" and not "loose."
