Another dump of the links crowding my tabbed browser this week....

FlyGuy - This is one amazing Flash time waster. No kidding, it goes on forever, but man is it ever fascinating!

****

Ipaqsoft.net - A long list of Pocket PC freeware

****

JavaSnow - Known as "Real Snow" this totally free java applet will add snowflakes to any image on your web page.

****

FunkUpYourPhone - My new phone will play Java games, so I scouted out a few sites so I can be ready when it arrives.

****

42" iMac - You think the new 20" iMac monitor is something? Ha! Wait til you see this!

****

Barney Channels Tupac - Oh now this is THE FUNNIEST thing I've seen online in weeks! Dedicated to GnomeGilr for the AfroMan post that made my day.

****

eBaum's World - Source of the link above, has a great video and flash archive that I can't view at work!

****

Retro Junk is dedicated to helping you remember your childhood. Like the Nintendo Power Glove! Lots of great galleries and pics to look through. Link via Ultimate Insult.

****

Pimadelic Wonderland is a "Technicolored tour of the decades most bewildering celluloid artifacts." Again, link via Ultimate Insult.

****

The G4 CubeQuarium - Yes, turning a computer into an aquarium is nothing new. Still, being a fan of the Betta, I just had to link to Gil and his snazzy home. Link via Boing Boing.

****

Japanese Super Hero images - Not sure how to describe it, but if you get a kick out of bad Japanese television Superheroes (think "Ultraman"), then you might find this entertaining. Link again via Boing Boing.

****

Heather - A photo every day, each captivating and impressive.

****

Hamilton Likes To Draw - Featured here before, but I worth another mention. I would love to be able to draw in this style. He also does portraits if you need an image for your site or an icon.

****

Amazing "Guess How Much I Love You" wall mural - For a baby's bedroom, it doesn't get much cuter than this.

****

System 16: The Arcade Museum has many interesting galleries of old arcade cabinet games. Kinda like this one for Moto Cross - grrr, baby.

****

Arcade PC - I still daydream about turning an old PC into an arcade game system. Things I'd need might be a Keyboard to arcade controls translator, or maybe some arcade controllers for a PC, or just get the real thing.

****

70's Artists In The News - Glad to know someone is keeping tabs on these Oldies but Goodies.

****

Cartooning in Flash Tutorial - I've always wondered how it was done, now step-by-step we can see for ourselves.

****

Triumph, the Comic Insult Dog, on NPR - Fresh Air to be exact.

****

Punched Out - An unofficial sequel to the old "Punch Out Game" in Flash.

****

Sea Devil - Ah, one of my first arcade game memories, around 1970.

****

Marvin's Mechanical Museum - It is incredible! I'd love to have this site on CD-ROM. Wow, I could spend all day surfing this site. Better yet, I'd like to actually go there.

****

Blambot Free Fonts - Some great free fonts, probably a few you don't have yet, you Fontaholic you!

****

...OK kids, that should keep you busy. And for the record, I am nowhere near being done with my links, but I had to stop somewhere. More next week.

Interesting Link from Brian's Life Dot Net -- Journal on November 23, 2003 8:34 PM
