Times are Hard, but I'm Harder

Well, well.

Mister Auto Guy told me this morning that to fix the A/C on my car would run about $450. That would be exactly $450 more than I have.

Dang.

I really was hoping I wouldn't have to auction off the autographed scripts, animation cells and Macross/Robotech robots for a while. I hate to let them go, but in the end, when I am gone, they will probably wind up in an estate sale for a quarter. Best to live off it now I guess.

Can you tell I am trying to justify this to myself?

There really isn't any other way to get the extra money, and I carry enough credit card debt as it is. It would be a lot easier if I was planning on going to Gnomedex, DragonCon or the (now over) Starbase21 Trek conventions. That way I could just cancel and use that saved up money. Drat.

Still, I am holding off on selling the X-Files & DS9 autographed scripts until the bitter end...

Wow, that sux, promo! However, I lived without a/c with my first car, so I'm sure you can too. Besides, it's only the car! It's not like there's no a/c in the house. Now *that* would be death.

Now that I no longer live in the midwest, I don't need a/c. Dry heat r0x. I have a/c in my car now, but refuse to turn it on unless it's at least 95 out.

Just get one of them dasboard fan thingies...or drive 80mph everywhere you go :)

Sorry to hear that. Skip the air and go to Gnomedex, I think you will have a great time and won't think about how hot it is once.
