The Microsoft Tablet PC is a great idea. Way too expensive of a gadget, but I just love the concept.
The things you write on the Tablet PC are captured in "ink." Think of it as a hadwritten virtual note.
One of the things you can do with "ink" is, of course, journal your thoughts. But what if those hand-written notes could be posted on a Blog? So that's what makes "Blinkx" so interesting.
Blinkx are blogs posted in "ink." Take a look at Casey's blog (you may be prompted to install a plugin).
I really like this concept. It makes the whole blogging concept more personal. Of course, you do limit your audience a lot, since it requires a special plug-in to view the site, and of course, the content isn't presented in a text-only alternative format.
But it gives the author a lot more freedom of expression than just typing. A lot more.
Will it take off? I am thinking not, but, as a conceptual blogging format, I really dig it.
What do you think?

It won't take off, really, just for that one simple reason: It requires a plugin.
Nobody wants to download a plugin just to view a blog.
The plugin won't take off but I have seen people Blog by handwriting the entry then scanning and posting it. Same basic concept.
