Randomly

Just a few thoughts before I dive into my work:

Because I was kinda getting that hair like Larry Dallas
(from "Three's Company")..or wait, was it more like Bobby Bitman (of SCTV)? I'm not sure, see for yourself ... eeenways, my point is, I got a haircut. *sigh* There go my hopes of having hair like Russell Crowe! But, I do think it looks better. Your thoughts?

A nod of the noggin to Todd for posting links to Tech TV (which I don't get to see being cable-less and all) and their bit about emulation on the DreamCast. Sega has since abandoned the DreamCast, so these crafty coders have figured out a way to use the system to play MP3s, downloaded movies, Arcade Games (Defender, Ms. Pac-Man anyone?), Atari 2600 and my fave, ColecoVision!

So, I was able to get my bud to give me his DC (he has a PS2 now, so he didn't want it), and last night, man this is so cool, last night I played ColecoVision games on the DreamCast! OK, totally geeking out here, sorry. But, man, it was so amazing. Every ColecoVison game ever was on the CD, which was free to download and burn.

Finally, yesterday I finally won something on flEa-Bay! Well, it wasn't so much won, rather, no one else bid on it. It is the Intel Computer Microscope (with bonus SoundMoprher). Retail on this sucka was $150 and I nabbed it for $41. It hooks up via USB and you can view things at 200x. Nice! I really think the kids in the family will really be excited by this, and come to love sicence and nature. Maybe they'd like the Digital Movie Creator next. It averages about $30 on flEa-Bay.

Next flEa-Bay Items: Visor EyeModule, Atari Jaguar CD system, a Visor or stand-alone GPS, webhosting with lotsa server space for trade or a minimal monthly charge.

Why all the "I Wants?" Well, my Birthday is coming up soon. March 29th to be exact. Care to guess how old I will be?

(Psst, those who know don't post, let's see how old folks think I look - am I asking for trouble here or what?)

Tired Today

I was gonna do another audio message today, but I got to work and I was just so damn tired. Guess I could have recorded that as my message but, I kinda want to make them worth you taking the time to listen.

So, I am thinking I probably won't post much today. Lots to do here, literally and figureatively.

But man, I am so tired. It was one of those nights where you wind up talking and talking about important issues then look up and it is half past midnight. Which means bedtime is even further off since you aren't ready for bed yet and have about 6 more things to do. Then even when you are in bed, the talking continues!

So, I am dragging in here today. Blech.
