Cam Raves

If you happen to visit this site early in the mornings, you may be lucky enough to catch me online via the FrapCam (the box in the upper left side bar).

Of course, you can always see an archive of the last 5 images right here.

But what I wanted to mention was that the software I use, ConquerCam, has just released version 2.1 and it is awesome!

To list all the features would take too long, but here are a few:
- Has motion detection, can act as a security cam and e-mail you the images.
- Has a dynamic caption you can change on the fly via a tray icon.
- Has the ability to put whatever is playing in your WinAmp on the image as a caption.
- Has many, many overlay options.
- Very long (infinite?) evaluation period, and very low price ($10 USD!).

I had no problems setting it up, and it has always worked great. Of course, YMMV (your mileage may vary).

Anyway, if you have a cam, and are looking for some new software, I think you would do well to give ConquerCam a test drive. Of course, if you have software you like, be sure to leave a comment and tell us about it.
