January 17, 2007Music Heard in Superman Returns Trailer: Full TiltThis request comes right from our forum. Nola asks: I want the part after Kevin Spacey as Lex says "You're not seeing the big picture here"...rocket goes off...and it seems like a choir is singing. Can anyone help me out with this? To see/hear the scene and music she is asking about, watch the clip below: I have an answer for her, but she won't like it. Read on... Nola, the music you like so much is called "They've broken through" from the "Full Tilt, Volume 1" collection produced by "Groove Addicts." GA is a music production company, and as such, they do not sell CDs of their music. Rather, they liscense it out, song by song, to movie studios and other producers who have a project which needs a very specific styles of music. You can view, but not sample, the "Full Tilt" tracks on the Groove Addicts music search tool. They do not sell single tracks of music to consumers like you and me. But if you like this style of music, let me recommend 2 CDs. First, check out "Unearthed" by ES Posthumus. You have heard their music in countless movie trailers, the theme to Cold Case, and they also composed the NFL on CBS theme. The CD is not in stock at Amazon, but you can listen to samples there. To buy it head over to CD Baby (where I got my copy) or iTunes Then give a listen to "Epicon" by Globus. This is a CD produced by another music production house (Immediate Music) for consumers/music lovers. It has the "trailer music" feel, and I really like it. I bought it from iTunes Take a listen to one of the Globus songs below: Posted by on January 17, 2007 @ January 17, 2007 03:09 PM 1 folks had something to say |
Thank you so much PromoGuy!
You did it so quickly!
How did you find it, because I've been looking for that piece of music since the summer.
I have heard of ES Posthumus through Cold Case, so thank you very much for all the suggestions.
Well done!
