Using iTunes with non-iPod MP3 players

This post is sort of a bookmark for me to review later. With iTunes Agent apparently you can trick iTunes into thinking your MP3 player is actually an iPod.

I actually have an iPod, but this still looks like something that could be useful down the road.

Dig iTunes Agent at sourceforge.

LifeHacker has another program (iTunes Library Updater) that will do something similar and a tutorial.

I suggest you visit both sites to see each and decide which works best for you.
