January 19, 2006Music Heard in Hilton Commercials: Dancing CoupleThe new set of commercials for Hilton are quite innovative in their simplicity. The campaign, titled "Travel should take you places," features animated line drawings of the memories you have when traveling. The spots have names like Dancing Couple, Hammock, Sandcastle and Sunrise, the spots feature some great music. And that's what you are here for, right? If you are looking for the music in the new Doubletree Hotel "Leaf" commercial, you can get answers in this post. Hilton, unlike almost ALL other advertisers, realized the importance of telling us who the artists are! "Dancing Couple" features the lyrics "la-la-la-la life is wonderful" this songs is: "Hammock" "Nice Day" by Persephone's Bees. You can also hear their music via their "My Space" site! "Sandcastle" "Sunrise" There is to be a 5th commercial at some point with featuring: You can also watch the commercials at HiltonJourneys.com. Hope this helps someone! file this under Music Heard InPosted by on January 19, 2006 @ January 19, 2006 09:59 AM 30 folks had something to say |
HELP!
I just found you online, and you're a keeper. ;) Maybe you can help me! Check out the clip in the second (?) post on this column...it's the Wizard of Oz promo from last December, but it's not the same Moby tune as before. Can you identify it? It's beautiful and it's driving me crazy!!

Posted by: Cass at October 5, 2007 9:21 PMSo there's another Hilton commercial that I don't see on the page- lyrics go something like:
"Darlin' do not fear what you don't even know..."
It's a male vocalist. Any ideas on who it is?

Posted by: Byrd at October 16, 2007 11:02 AMHilton has some new commercials that are line drawings. There is a new one that features a song by Michael Tolcher. It's lyrics go "pleasureful indeed, oh yeah satisfy my needs, allright how i long to be, my soul on fire and my spirit free. woo ooh yeah yeaheah woo ooh yeah yeaheah woo ooh yeah yeaheah" Awesome, I used to watch Michael at Eddie's Attic in Decatur (just outside of Atlanta) about 10 years ago. congrats michael!
Posted by: scott at October 17, 2007 9:51 PMJane, the song is "New Shoes" by Paolo Nutini.
And the song that goes:
"Blessed is this life,
And I'm gunna celebrate being alive"
is called Blessed" by Brett Dennen
And THE WHOLE SONG is just as good as the part in the commercial!
Posted by: Lauren at October 20, 2007 3:39 PMThere is a new hilton commercial that has a man and woman singing together and I don't know who is singing or the name of the song. Does anyone know??? The visual is a man and woman on the line and he pulls her toward him. Thanks.
Posted by: stef at October 21, 2007 4:40 PMThe Hilton commercial song by Michael Tolcher is called "Voila" and it is only a jingle made for the commercial. As far as I can tell, there are no plans to make it into a full blown song.
