September 24, 2005Hunkered Down"Hunkered Down" This has got to be the BEST buzzword ever! No disrespect to those in the path of Rita, but I can't get enough of news anchors like Diane Sawyer or Katie saying these words. You know the meaning? It means to take shelter, or to squat. To see these professional news personalities using the oh-such slang "hunkered down" just brings a smile to my face. But seriously, let's put a ban on news anchors like Matt Lauer saying "hunkered down." No one sounds good saying it unles they are from the south. file this under MindPosted by on September 24, 2005 @ September 24, 2005 12:57 AM 0 folks had something to say |
