iTunes Wins Me Over

I have to admit, I was a holding out. I didn't want to like iTunes. However, once I had an iPod, I began to give in. Then, once iTunes 4.9 hit the scene with Podcasting support, I crumbled.

Yes, I dig iTunes.

I really never thought I'd be buying music from iTunes either. But being as busy as I am, it is just too easy to buy music and have it instantly on my iPod. Where I go, my iPod goes with. I don't think I've listened to an actual CD in a year. In fact, I've tossed out many of my mix CDs. I simply don't listen to them anymore.

I probably wouldn't be raving about iTunes if I didn't own an iPod, but I do, so I am.

Podcasting support is just so convenient. Effortless even. Still, Podcasts are an aquired taste - you might want to read this NY Times article to catch up on what that is all about (registration may be required).

While it may not suit the needs of everyone, if you are an iTunes user, at least get the update to 4.9 (and if you own an iPod, update the firmware). Chances are, you will like what you see hear.
