July 22, 2005Hit 'n' Run, 7/22/2005Hey folks. Just a load more links I found. Hope you enjoy! Paper iPod Shuffle - Print, cut, fold, jam! OS2/Warp Support Ends - Ends? Who even knows what OS/2 Warp is, let alone even uses it?!? Look At His Butt Podcast (xml) (blog) - Don't ask me how I found this show, but it is one of the funniest podcasts I've heard this year. Two gals who love Star Trek and don't hold back when it comes to their appreciation of William Shatner's Butt. Thankfully (for me), there is more to their show. If you listen in you might learn about the amazing phenom known as an "EVE," the hidden wonders of the Venus Vibrance razor, and why you might want to get your name on the "Spanking List." Don't ask, just listen. Antibiotics can cause Yeast Infections, Yogut is the Answer - OK, you ladies probably aready knew this, but it was news to me. Apparently the LadyParts have some "good" bacteria that keeps things a-goin' and flowin' like they should. Taking antibiotics for an extended time can be bad because the meds will go after that "good" bateria. When it does, that bacteria is gone and bad things start in. The solution? Eat Yougurt! Since yogurt contains active cultures, eating it can replenish the missing bacteria. Elsewhere, there was mention of douching with yougurt, but you know folks....that to me sounds like some odd fetish with which I am quite uncomfotable visualizing!!! Now, here is a diversion. While researching "Screencasting" I found myself digressing to these sites: BizarreBids.com - Another site featuring veeeeery strange e-bay auctions. Behavior - Using CSS to apply JavaScript. RSSscraper - A script for your server which "generates RSS feeds from websites who do not provide it themselves." formStyle - Using CSS to style form boxes. Improving an XML feed display through CSS and XSLT - Looked interesting, hope to go back and read it. Significant Performance Boost For XP - 6 Essential Tweaks. Wikipedia: Screencast - A great resource with many links to software. Jots - I like the great news round-up here. I know there is a lot more to this site, I just need time to explore it though. Myscreencast.com - "Find and share screencasts." The Distant Librarian: Tutorials - Category on posts relating to Screencasting. Be sure to view the home page too. TreeSize - Jam Software's freebie program to show what folders on your hard drive are the space-hogs. file this under Hit 'n' RunPosted by on July 22, 2005 @ July 22, 2005 09:58 AM 0 folks had something to say |
