I'm not exactly the most sensitive person in the world and I can feel tears well up every time I see this commercial. I usually ignore commercials, but this is one of the bsst done and most memorable commercials I have seen in many years.

Thanks for the information! This song is so catchy that I find myself humming the tune during the day. I even paid close attention to the commercial and googled the product - Chase credit cards - to find the name and artist of the song - pretty good advertising, huh? Greeshan, you need to re-read my post. I never said Bette Midler sang the song in the commercial. I said it was "made popular by Bette Midler. However, it is not performed by Bette." In the post, I name the actual singer of the song.

As is everyone else, I looked around everywhere for Elizabeth Shea. My friends father actually called Chase and they said they only recorded it for the commercial. So, we haven't found anything yet. If anyone runs accross the full song by her, let me know where I can find. Its so much better than Bette.

This is not unusual though. Songs are composed and recorded just for commercials all the time. Often, like "Fisher" and Toyta's "Beautiful Life" it leads to a full length song being produced, which becomes a hit.

Elizabeth Shea, are you paying attention? Is your agent? Time to knock some heads, get a website/blog and get some attention!
