December 9, 2003Listen UpHere are the streaming radios that I am listening to on my PocketPC during the drive to and from work: RetroGaming Radio - Monthly. December Edition is now online, in MP3 format and others. And NPR, but since that is on the radio at "drive time" no need to capture that stream. I just use the old fashioned radio. Capture and Save Streaming Media: Then save the streams, and copy them to your Media Card and use the appropriate PocketPC player to listen. Of course, you can also just listen on your PC, or save them to your PC or burn them to a CD. But since these shows are topical and information gets dated quickly, I don't archive them. Let me know if this helps. file this under MultiMediaPosted by on December 9, 2003 @ December 9, 2003 11:27 AM 2 folks had something to say |
OH! I'll have to share these links with Mike - he'll love it! (I can't listen to talk radio in the car. It makes me carsick.)
Posted by: Christine at December 15, 2003 10:53 AMSuperb! These'll be worth checking out. In the car is really the only time I can sit, listen to, and focus on talk radio. I've taken to recording Car Talk with a TV/FM tuner card, encoding it, and taking those MP3s along with me. These look interesting.
Thanks!
