There's actually an alternate version of the commercial that's not quite as icky. And I prefer it.

I must say, the first time I saw the Wolf Titty commercial, I was absolutely disgusted. I mean, ugh. Just, ugh.

I like quiznos subs too -- but they have radio ads on air here using the line "for people who just don't know that much" - have you heard those? TO me, saying your customers are stupid just isn't a way to bring in business.

I saw that ad this weekend and was turned off by it. Shame too, since Quizno's just opened in downtown Savannah.

Ack! I'd never seen that ad before. That is a stomach-turner, sure enough. I love their subs, too, and their clam chowder. Ooooh!

ok, first off, i grew up in jersey where good subs are made...subway, quizno's and all of the other chains have nothing on the good ole mom & pop deli submarine sandwich...for the same price as a stinky subway sandwich i could get a sub twice as long w/twice as much meat and cheese...i have no clue why people buy from those places...

the only chain that comes close to what i'm used to is blimpie, and even they kinda suck...so, that's all i have to say about that matter, b/c honestly? you will NOT find me ever eating from one of those places...ever...ick...(no matter what kinda commercials they produce...though i must agree, the wolf teat thing is nas-tay!)

I love the commercial, except for that scene. I love the way he says, "Yes. Yes, I was." I saw one yesterday where it was just him being nuzzled by other wolves instead of nursing. It was a vast improvement.

yes the nursing thing was pure raunch. I let out a huge "gross!" as well. Does that mean I am sexually repressed?? ;)

I liked the commercial the first time I saw it. Laughed for a bit. But it got worse and worse each time. It picked up slightly when I saw the wolf guy in some movie - he's apparently British or does a really good english accent. But I really liked the milder version.

Would have been a better commercial if they showed him doing several wolf like activities like running with the pack, howling at the moon, getting nuzzled, and ending with drinking wolfsmilk.

Either way, quiznos makes good subs.

After I first saw the "nursing" ad, I described it to my wife. She surmised I dreamed the bizarre scene. And I agreed with her, for it, indeed, left me with the vague unease of a half-remembered dream. Then I saw it again (wide awake). Too bad I wasn't dreaming.

Even though that Quiznos commercial is disgusting, it just strikes me as funny. I've never eaten at a Quiznos so I'm not likely to walk in their doors, have a mental flasahback, and puke on the floor. (Surprising that they'd want to do that with their actual customers though) Thanks for the link because I've only seen the updated version lately.

BTW, I love those Swiffer commercials with the "Just Swiff it" song. They're so ridiculous they're funny. I know a lot of brands try to be funny and fail miserably (like those painful Old Navy ones) but I find the Swiffer commercial funny.

Wow, this is interesting. First thing, I thought it was odd to hear him say the word "crap" in a commercial, not that it bothered me, but then the wolf thing really grossed me out. After seeing the commercial several times, I wondered if other people were as grossed out as I was. So I did a search on the internet which led me here. Before I found this site, I found many other sites of people offended at other Quiznos commercials. Seems they like making gross and offensive commercials. One was a Super Bowl spot that had something to do with a dead parrot, and the other having something to do with a woman eating a quiznos sub out of the garbage.

I sure would like to get a job at their advertising department, cuz the people they have now can come up with some funny ideas, but suck when it comes to making food appetizing.

The Quiznos wolf ad is the best!! Wearing the same suit in both scenes took the prize. Have you no senses of humor? What...were you raised by wolves?!!

I find it very interesting that this campaign is getting so much digital ink from media folks. I read PromoGuy's comment to my weblog entry that pretty much says the same thing. I think people in the media might be more put off by this not so much because of the bestiality suggestion but that we can't equate the image with the desire to eat a sandwich. As a promotional piece, it just makes no sense to me. And while I find the pieces offensive, I think it's a contextual issue, I'm not normally a prude. This is, in my mind, just thrown out there for shock value, and it isn't done in a way that influences the desired outcome: That I go buy a Quiznos sandwich. Not gonna happen!

I was at first taken aback and then was rolling on the floor the second time I saw it. Loosin up people, there are more things to be upset about than a man who has been nurtured buy a pack of wolves. Would you prefer it had been tarzan being raised by Apes? Imagine that commercial.

Quizno's should be ashamed of themselves creating something so gross and disgusting as the guy sucking on the dogs tit in the latest commercial ! Quizno's sandwiches are really good but not good enough for me and my family to continue giving them money to endorse such gross advertising. I will take SUBWAY anyday ! At least they endorse healthy eating and inproving your food choices.

I really don't want people to think that I am one of the raised by wolves people, and so I will trade-in my subway subscription and go with Quiznos.

I have to agree with Bill and several others that responded. I had heard good things about Quiznos until recently. Unfortunately, now all the comments I've heard about "the sucking commercial" as it's been referred to, have been extremely negative. I work with children who all said that they were "grossed out", and a parent said it bordered on beastiality...(whew!) My husband and I saw it again tonight and decided - "Yuk-That's it - we'll never go there!" What a shame - a store just opened nearby...

And I was beginning to think I was alone with the disgust of this "Wolf" nursing commercial. I still see it on TV...why has it not been removed. I do not know where my message is going nor who is reading it BUT I know one thing, the Quiznos commercial is totally inappropriate. We have enough sadistic/demonic ideas entering the "unprotected" minds and hearts...PLEASE see that we do make a difference by the commercial being completely disbanned! Les: I still go to Quizno's for subs, I just didn't care for their commercial. It's a "love the sinner, hate the sin" thing.

Joe: you may be entitled to say what you want, but I don't have to agree with it. This country was based on its citizens being able to speak their minds without fear of retribution. If the people want to say that they didn't like the commercial, then that is their prerogative. It doesn't indicate a lack of a sense of humor, just an observation of something that some folks didn't find as humorous as you did.

I own a quizno's franchise and I don't care for the commercial, personally.

Please don't punish your local business owner by taking your business elsewhere. We have absolutely no control over national marketing.

Tom, just a note. Kims own dollars do go towards the marketing efforts, every franchisee has to pay royalties to Quiznos. But shes doesn't get any say about the marketing efforts. As a Marketer myself your right on the fact that good ads are remembered and talked about, if the ad wasn't effective then there wouldn't be any comments on this site.

That anyone,muchless a food purveyor would liken it's product to suckling a wolf is plainly DISGUSTING! Why the FTC,Dept. of Health hasn't stepped in is beyond me.
