TAR is back! TAR is back! TAR is back!!! I blogged my commentary on it - can't wait to see yours!

I've seen TAR a few times. I liked it pretty well, but my wife, who is a more sensitive traveller did not like the way it forced people to push people around in other cultures. There's no real effort to follow the "When in Rome" philosophy. There's rarely an effort to speak the language and using money to buy your way around is kind of tacky. Why not have people trying to live and work with another culture on their terms? That would be a cool show.

The Amazing Race is awesome, but the fact that it's greatly based on luck as opposed to skill makes Survivor better in my book. But I do love the Race.

Can't wait until Blake from TAR2 gets that Reality Central channel launched so we can catch past episodes too.
