May 19, 2003Monday Mission 3.20I saw "The Matrix Reloaded" yesterday @ 5PM. The crowd was huge, more that I would have expected for a Sunday afternoon. What a great movie! I was just blown away by the whole thing. I've read reviews slamming it for being more of the same, and to that I say, um, yeah, so what? That is exactly why I go to see sequels, because I want more of the same, but kicked up a notch. And kick it up they did! The fight in the park, amazing! The freeway battle, just breathtaking! Sure there was a little too much talking at times (but that is why we love the "skip" button on the DVD remote) and the Zion Rave Party went on too long, but that was because I wanted to see more slammin' action. Overall, I have to give it an excellent rating. But one word of advice, don't get the MegaSized drink unless you have a bladder of steel. Oh, and be sure to sit through the (endless) credits for a preview of "The Matrix Revolutions." So many folks left and missed it. If I hadn't been warned, I'd have left too, so consider this your warning! PromoGuy's Monday Mission 3.201. This seems to be the year for movie sequels (Terminator 3, Matrix Reloaded, 2 Fast 2 Furious, LOTR: The Return of the King, etc.). Is there a movie you would like to see Hollywood make a sequel to? 2. What movie sequel do you think should never have been made? 3. Are there any books (comic, novel, etc.) that you would like to see made into a movie? Who should star in it? 4. When was the last time the you got a shot at the Doctor's office? Do you prefer them in the arm or your backside? Or would you rather just take a prescription? 5. Do you make friends easier in "Real Life" or online or is it about the same? Do you have closer friendships in "Real Life" or online? Why do you think that is? Are you ok with that or would you like to make a change? 6. When you first got your drivers license how did you feel ? Did you get it on the first try, second, third, more than that ? Do you have a license ? If
no, do you plan to get one ? Why or why not ? 7. Have you ever had your tonsils removed? Did you ever come close? Tell me about that. BONUS: Who's that girl? Today's comment question: How do you prefer to have your Ice Cream served? Cone (sugar, cake, waffle), cup, or something else? file this under Monday MissionPosted by on May 19, 2003 @ May 19, 2003 09:24 AM 43 folks had something to say |

Posted by: Justin at May 19, 2003 1:19 PMok, i finally got mine up. ice cream? gots to be on a waffle cone!!! :)
Posted by: Daniel at May 19, 2003 1:24 PMUp and at 'em. Generally I prefer a waffle cone, but if I can't afford it, I ask for a regular cone, a spare cup and a spoon. I then drop the cone upside down in the cup, and mush it all up together, eating it with the spoon. I am an odd person.
Posted by: GBG at May 19, 2003 1:35 PMUp!
I love waffle cones, especially dipped in chocolate with color sprinkles!!!!!!!!
Mine are up! I like ice-cream in a dish - with fresh raspberries, and clotted cream! Mmmmm - yummy!
Posted by: Annie at May 19, 2003 2:12 PMGoing up shortly.
I haven't done as many as I should cos I sometimes forget that "Promo Guy" isn't some sort of spam selling me something and it gets deleted in my my mass spam deletions, so i have no idea how many I've done! :(
In a bowl with a meringue nest.
Yum...
Posted by: Willow at May 19, 2003 2:34 PMMine are up.
Soft serve ice cream in a dish...TONS of hot fudge.
Posted by: Chablis at May 19, 2003 3:07 PMIt's up... I prefer orange/rainbow sherbert on a cone. As many scoops as I can get. And I believe I've done somewhere in the range of 17-20 MMs...I think I missed a few weeks in there somewhere.

Posted by: Becky at May 19, 2003 7:22 PMup!
I prefer a waffle or sugar cone and love any good chocolate ice cream with it. I have done around 10 Monday Missions.
I'd like my ice cream (Baskin Robbins, a scoop of daquiri ice and a scoop of dark chocolate) in a cup, please.
Posted by: Katherine at May 19, 2003 8:43 PMI like a scoop of mint chocolate chip over a scoop of chocolate chip in a waffle cone. Yum! Summertime delight!
Posted by: Ryan at May 19, 2003 9:53 PMOne scoop...sugar cone all the way!
Posted by: Julie at May 19, 2003 11:30 PMI'm probably the last entry but mine is up now. Had a hard time trying to cast my superhero movie. Check it out...
I prefer my ice cream in a pint...
Posted by: KB at May 20, 2003 12:29 AMAgain this week, it doesn't get done till tuesday, but I'm pre dated the entry. I wish that my site would stay up longer then a couple of hours.
Posted by: Tom at May 20, 2003 8:22 AMBen & Jerry's Half Baked in a pint. Yes, all for me.
Australian in a chocolate rimmed waffle cone. All the cream flavours are great, although Belgian Chocolate is - strangely enough - my least favourite. My favourite would be either Macademia or Speculaas. Hmmm, Speculaas.
In Shanghai I got some icecream in a FRESH waffle cone, as in, the waffle was still warm and slightly soft! Yum yum!
So, I guess I have a slight preference for waffles. B&J don't come in waffles, at least not overhere.
Posted by: Jane at May 20, 2003 9:16 AMoops, forgot to say, my answers are up! hehe and I like my ice cream in a waffle cone, mmmm :)
