April 30, 2003Hit 'n' Run, 04/30/2003Welcome to the special "Flash" edition of Hit 'n' Run. I have been obsessed with Flash this week, so I wanted to share my findings. Hope you enjoy. Memorial - A "flash slideshow to music, to honor the fallen firefighters that died in the WTC, Sept 11, 2001" I found while looking for a free Flash Picture Slideshow maker (never found one either). Grab your hankies. Make a slideshow in Flash - A tutorial I have yet to try. You must have the Macromedia Flash authoring program though (which I do). Trading Spaces Drinking Game - Ok, off topic, but I found the site above thanks to Chris, so I had to mention his site. Plus this thing is hilarious!
Activision's Kaboom in Flash - I wish they had done "Freeway" as well, I loved that game too. And if you are crafty, you can save this Flash file locally and play it on your PocketPC! via Random Drivel. FlashToolset - Awesome tools for Flash and you don't need Macromedia's program to use it. Trust me, you need this! Did I mention it is FREE! ImagesPro - Nice shareware/freeware site. I found several of these programs there. Flash Wizard by Crazy Ivan - Nice free program that lets you create the proper HTML for flash files. ScreenSwift - Free tool to make any flash file into a screen saver. Neat idea though I don't know if I'd ever use it. swf2avi - The "swf" refers to the file extension of a Flash movie, and of course, "avi" is a video format. So you can guess what this freebie does. Not sure why you'd want to do this though. The phrase "because we can can can" comes to mind however... Slide - This isn't Flash, but it is a free photo slideshow screensanver maker. Registration is free and removes the nags. Haven't tried it but am keeping it on hand because you never know. 8bit D&D - Um, I am not sure how to describe this, but it was funny as h-e double hockey sticks. There were guys like this in my High School! via ultimate insult. ....that's it! file this under LinkagePosted by on April 30, 2003 @ April 30, 2003 04:30 PM 1 folks had something to say |
