Turn Me Loose

Ummkay. So, for about a year now I've been wanting to see TechTV because Chris was the host. Most bloggers I know really liked the show. Many had even said they would send me tapes since I don't have cable (but that kinda fell through).

Now I learn that he is no longer with the show.

Chris isn't giving all the details just yet, so there are probably bigger things ahead.

So, there goes any motivation I had to get cable TV.

At the moment I'm listening to Chris on "OnlineTonight" to see what he has to say (check hour 1 segment three - 11:30 deep). In the meantime, I suppose I can browse the hundreds of comments and trackbacks his announcement has generated.

Not that it is really any of my beeswax what happened. Come to think of it, kinda weird how his personal life is making news around the web. Imagine if it were you or me in this position? How would we handle everyone talking about our employment status, speculating on this or that, asking personal questions and demanding explanations on a situation that is private.

It must be really strange to live in the spotlight.

But I don't think this was so sudden. I think Chris left clues in the days leading up to it. Did you notice them?
