Flashed and Dashed

In between projects, I am trying to tinker together some means of using flash to post audio blogs now and then. I keep hitting a brick wall because I want to just be able to do it in FlashMX without any experience of actually studying, reading tutorials or learning how. I just want to be able to know how to do it *now*! But I have to remember what it was like back in the late 90's when I taught myself how to learn HTML, image maps and FTP. I had patience then. Not sure if I know that word anymore.

I wonder, if Flash and PhotoShop had been around when *I* was 16, would I be producing a portfolio like Tasha's?
