Monday Mission 2.49

Thank you to everyone for the nice wishes on last week's Monday Mission birthday celebration. I can't promise the MM will make it to two, you know how short my attention span is thanks to the ADD. But I will do my best to keep entertaining y'all until we all get bored.

The next few weeks of the MM will probably be filled with light and fluffy questions since many Bloggers will be traveling and/or spending time AFK (Away From the Keyboard) with their families. I know I will be. So if you don't swing by during the holiday madness don't feel guilty, I am sure you won't be the only ones. Just remember to come back sometime next month because that is when I will be adding the questions you suggested each week (and linking to you). So that should be fun.

Guess what? I know a place where we can dance the whole night away underneath the electric stars, it's called...

1. Do you get sick very often? What illness do you find that you've had most frequently?

2. I know a man who flat out refuses to go to the Doctor's office. You'd need an ambulance to get him near a hospital. Not me, I'd rather go as soon as I feel sick so I can get better. Do you mind going to see the Doctor when you get sick? Do you know anyone who just refuses to go to a Doctor when they get ill? Any idea why they are like that?

3. How about visiting the Dentist? Do you go get a check-up every 6 months? Or do you dread going?

4. I've heard about a diet pill called "Thermolift" that allegedly gives you quite an energy rush (oh boy mentioning this will surelybring us all a ton of Google hits won't it?). Although I've thought about getting some of these pill for the times I need a boost, I'm probably not going to take the plunge. Have you ever taken any diet pills, energy pills or energy drinks? How did they make you feel? Do you still take them? How come?

5. Have you heard about "Gastric Bypass" surgery that many celebrities are doing to loose weight? (The process reduces the size of your stomach to facilitate weight loss) What are your thoughts on this procedure? Would you ever consider it? How would you feel if a relative were to decide to undergo the procedure?

6. What do you think the opposite sex needs to experience to fully understand what it is like to be your gender?

7. And to lighten things up a bit before we go...What's the most worthless gadget, infomercial item or "looked like a bargain" item you have ever purchased or owned?

BONUS: Why can't every day be like Christmas?

As far as the question, I've gotten into gaming on my computer... Right now I'm checking out Sims Online... it is TOO COOL!

I like to play games on my comp...lately I've been playing on yahoo games. I've found their version of boggle to be quite addictive. Then there's the whole site building and graphic playing thing too.

I absolutely love the Sims. There's not much else I play on the computer. Sometimes I play my Monopoly online.

I just play solitare if I've got the time. Or a nice pinball game. lol. Mainly I'd be writing with the nice fast word processor. Yes, I'm a geek.

I don't really do the computer gaming thing, but my computer *is* the entertainment system here at home. It's hooked up to the stereo, has the DVD player in it, and I also use the monitor as my TV. I just don't see wasting money on a real television.

Games, definitely really long drawn out adventure games. That is my weakness, although I use the machine for work and writing. I'm going to go play Morrowind now. :)

I have a shiny new comuter too. With purple buttons even. Now that I have a processor that can handle it, I play the Sims Unleashed, and Sims Online all the time. Way too hooked on that game.
Sometimes I play Heroes of Might and Magic, and Civilization.
And my old standard, Monopoly. Love that game.

I don't do a whole lot on my computer. I use it to copy cds for people (just friends, I don't sell them), write in Word 97 and chat in irc with Mirc.

i play dominoes on my PC. i'm so good, it's hard to get come competition near me (don't tell my momma i said that. LOL!)

I own 8bitjoystick.com what do you think I do with my computer? I would install MAME, NeoRage X, Magic Engine, Nesticle, and SNES 9X and other classic game emulators. Also don't forget 3xThursday at itjoystick.com

I usually use my computer for homework and web surfing these days, but I do occasionally load up the odd game. Right now I'm trying to fight my way through Baldurs Gate II but I really want Icewind Dale II

Mine are up. I have this little shareware game that I play when I'm tired. It's almost like Bejeweled in its addictiveness. If you need gaming suggestions, talk to my hubby. He has an entire PC devoted to gaming.

Thank you Dargie and Laura. I didn't want to be alone and pregnant in doing my Monday Mission on Tuesday. Got off the band wagon for a couple of weeks and needed to get back on.
