November 26, 2002Next Big ThingChristine has completed her quest for the new Mini Remote Control cars and it got me to wondering: will these be the next "Big Thing" at Christmas this year? I get a ton of spam from vendors who want to sell me Mini RC cars, but I had no idea what they were. I kinda know now, but still, is this what kids are after this year? Big Kids like Kymberlie dig 'em. I imagine most kids who wanted a PS2, Game Cube, XBox or GameBoy Advance already have one. So, what does that leave? I've also noticed that Care Bears have made a comeback (whywhywhyohdearlordwhy?). Amazon seems to be sold out but you can always turn to flEa-bay. So to all the parents out there, what toys are your children asking for? What are the "hot" toys for what ages this Christmas? They claim that these cars will be the "big toy" this year. I know the Radio Shack ZipZaps are almost impossible to get your hands on for some people. We have a cart in the mall with some other brand too, but the ZipZaps offer extra bodies, motors to upgrade, etc. They are so much fun to play with! I'm afraid I'll enjoy mine more than my son will enjoy his!
