I was totally thrilled to have been invited, I never get invited to anything! It was tough, tough, tough to pick out only 10, so I thought I would post the runners-up here for you to take a look at. I tried to pick unusual photos for Rannie, pics I haven't posted here. But I liked these also, so I hope you enjoy!

Not sure why, but there is something about this one I really like.

I called this one "DeathWish" because I took it while driving 75mph on a tollway. But the clouds were so amazing that day!

Shot of a flower in the garden outside, right after a nice spring rain.

A tree trunk found on a nature walk, very interesting formation. I'd love to draw it if I ever had the time.

The life-sized statue of a Wooly Mammoth in the lobby of the Sam Noble museum in Norman, OK. When I took it I never even noticed the boy under its foot pretending to be crushed! I love that because it is SO something I would do!

Tough call on this one. It is a shot of the bell of my Dad's trumpet. One of two that were left to me when he died. I decided not to send this one in because it was so personal.
