November 8, 2002DVDs Man, DVDsThis would be a great time to buy DVDs, that is, if I could afford them all! I am just jotting down a "want list" to keep track, so when I get some money after Christmas, I will remember what I wanted. Some are not due out for a while, and other have been out a long time - but I still want 'em. Feel free to make suggestions: * Lord of the Rings - Extended version ... did I forget anything? file this under GreedPosted by on November 8, 2002 @ November 8, 2002 03:33 PM 9 folks had something to say |
Awsome list of movies you've got there!
I'm such a DVD nut myself!
Oh..got a DVD suggestion...The Scorpian King....NOT!!!!!!! Ugh..watched that the other night and I can't believe I wasted my time!
Don't laugh, but I'm dying to get the Buffy The Vampire DVD set! Boy would I ever be in heaven! ;)
Also, I'm such a B Rated movie freak, I'm wondering if their ever going to put Attack of the Killer Tomatoes out on DVD! hehe. Hey..stop laughing! ;) : P

Ishtar and Showgirls, for those times when you need something so bad that it's good. ;)

Also, Me, Myself and Irene! haha. Watched that last night and couldn't stop laughing!

My suggestions:
Bullitt
Slap Shot
Those are truly classics. They're so classic, I doubt they're even on DVD. They're full of real 1970s goodness. And you can't turn down Steve McQueen and Paul Newman.

Posted by: amancay at November 11, 2002 1:12 PMI found some of those DVDs *CHEAP* over at www.overstock.com. Meanwhile, you've added them to your Wishlist too, haven't you? Because you know, there could be a Secret Santa wanting to shop some day!
Posted by: Christine at November 11, 2002 4:41 PMI work at a blockbuster and they have a sale thru the 18th that all previewed vhs/dvs are on sale. ($4.99/$9.99) Monsters Inc. is in that. Check a local bbuster. Snow White is in Moritorium I believe.
