Fav song at the moment would be Strange and Beautiful by Aqualung - very girly I know!
Posted by: Ros at September 30, 2002 9:35 AMFav song right now would be "Picture" by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow.
Posted by: Becca at September 30, 2002 9:51 AMThe local rock station plays Tommy Lee's new song, which is pretty cool, though I can't stand Tommy Lee.
Posted by: Kat Lively at September 30, 2002 9:57 AMHey - I'm coming up! I want the world to know, got to let it show.
Sorry, I don't have a favorite new song.
Posted by: Susan at September 30, 2002 9:58 AMGot mine!
I can't really think of a new song on the radio that I like since the radio has been sucking much lately. Right now I'm listening to the Police's Synchronicity. But if I were to plug someone it would be Erin McKeown. She's fab-a-luss. :)
Posted by: Texas Yankee at September 30, 2002 10:04 AMMy Monday Mission is up! Oh, and I listen to classic rock! Not too crazy about the new stuff, except I do like Nickelback!
Posted by: Helena at September 30, 2002 10:12 AMI am up. Favorite New Song at the moment? Tough one!
Posted by: Shawn at September 30, 2002 10:18 AMMine's up. There's this Kid Rock duet that's highly singable whether in car or shower. I love that song.
Posted by: Dennis at September 30, 2002 10:32 AMI have been listening to James Taylor 'Fire and Rain' alot lately. Not new, but a very good song.
Posted by: Thomas at September 30, 2002 10:33 AMI'm a Monday Mission Virgin...be nice to me
Posted by: Tart at September 30, 2002 10:44 AMOhh...and my favorite song is Katrina and the Waves, Walking on Sunshine
Posted by: Tart at September 30, 2002 10:45 AMI listen to a radio station at work, but never really notice that it's on. But the songs work their way into my subconscious and I start singing them in the shower. But I could not name a particular song.
Posted by: Nicole at September 30, 2002 10:46 AMMine are up. Probably Sc8er Boi by Avril Levigne(sp).
Posted by: John T. Hill at September 30, 2002 10:56 AMMine are up, and they're right here. I don't listen to the radio much anymore, I have a ton of Mix CD's that I listen to to get my 80's fix. Currently, one of my favorite songs is Skee-Lo's I Wish mixed with Eye of the Tiger, and The Breeders Cannonball. It rocks, and you can find it on my site here.
Posted by: Annessa at September 30, 2002 11:08 AMSong, hmm? "Endless Night" from the Lion King Broadway recording. Or if you insist on new stuff, the current Our Lady Peace song isn't that bad.
Posted by: Manda at September 30, 2002 11:22 AMNot positive... I suppose the new Sheryl Crow song about Sunshine and such.
Mine are ready for reading.
Posted by: Anne at September 30, 2002 11:32 AMMine are up
Posted by: Tina at September 30, 2002 11:34 AMMine's up
Posted by: Caroline at September 30, 2002 11:38 AMMy favorite new song would have to be Jam for the ladies by Moby from his album 18.
Mine are almost up.
Don't forget to try 3X Thursday at http://www.8bitjoystick.com/3XThursday.php ;)
Mines up!
Posted by: ed at September 30, 2002 11:45 AMModern music has just sucked ass lately. That's all there is to it. When this happens, I tend to go backwards and listen to things I never had the time to get into. So, now-a-days, I've been listening to They Might Be Giants quite a bit. I keep getting the song, "Turn Around" in my head. So, I guess if a song from 1992 counts, that's my 2 cents!
Posted by: missy at September 30, 2002 11:50 AMNew music...what's that? LOL I am WAY behind in that arena.
Posted by: Jana at September 30, 2002 11:58 AMMine are up! "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones. I like the mellow.
Posted by: Jenna at September 30, 2002 12:10 PMI don't know who sings it for sure, but I heard the DJ say Love Child by Must or was it Must by Love Child. I can't find it anywhere so I must have heard it wrong.
My MM is up! :-)
Posted by: Karen at September 30, 2002 12:27 PMI'm here! My favorite songs right now are any ones by Josh Groban. My favorite old songs of the moment are off of Dave Matthews' Everyday cd.
Posted by: Jennifer at September 30, 2002 12:45 PMMine are here.
I don't really have a new favorite. I really like the Jimmy Eats World song, "The Middle" (even though it's kinda bubblegum). Been wathching "A Hard Day's Night" DVD, so I'm back on my Beatle kick anyway!
Posted by: Solonor at September 30, 2002 12:48 PMI'd go with the song "The Game of Love," by Santana featuring Michelle Branch, but I know within five days I'll be tired of hearing it ALL THE TIME. God bless iPod in the car.
Now go read my crappy Monday Mission or I kill you. No, I don't kill you. Yeah.
Posted by: Peter at September 30, 2002 12:58 PMFavorite song of the moment? U2's newest, Electrical Storm.
Posted by: Katie at September 30, 2002 1:09 PMMine are up, and I started somthing on my page for fun. I hope you all comment. I rarely get those now.
Posted by: Lorelei at September 30, 2002 1:14 PMMine are up! I like the new Leann Rimes song, Life Goes On, as sad as that makes me...
My answers are up... it took me a long time to do these questions in between many other things. Hey, it's multitasking!
As for my favorite song on the radio? I honestly dunno the titles and artists of a lot of the songs I like... I listen to local college radio stations, and they hardly ever tell us any information. There's some great spanish rock they've been playing on KSJS.
Posted by: courtney at September 30, 2002 1:40 PMme too!
Posted by: Stacey at September 30, 2002 1:59 PMFinally got mine up, currently my favorite song would have to be Toby Keith and Willy Nelson - Whisky for my men (beer for my horses)
Posted by: Pierce at September 30, 2002 2:12 PMMy MM is complete. :)
Hmm... I don't listen to much radio, but my current favorites are:
Gotta Get Through This - Daniel Benningfield(?)
A Moment Like This - that American Idol girl
Something Worth Leaving Behind - Lee Ann Womak
Mine are up! As for new music - don't have a fave at the moment.
Mine are up.
Posted by: Ealasaid at September 30, 2002 3:49 PMa few hours behind schedule, but i'm up!

Posted by: Tammtamm at September 30, 2002 5:11 PMForgot to post my favorite song at the moment.
Everyday by Bon Jovi
Posted by: Tammtamm at September 30, 2002 5:13 PMMine will be up in a second!
As for a favorite song, all the radio stations in Hawaii are really horrible. I have to depend on my friends to introduce me to new music. So, probably The Used - Buried Myself Alive.
Mine will be up in a second!

Posted by: Marie at September 30, 2002 7:21 PMAnything that doesn't qualify as pop music, tank u berry much. Tom Maxwell is workin' on some fun new stuff...
Posted by: Mike at September 30, 2002 7:58 PMmine are up...as for the comment question...I'd have to say there is a tie..."Complicated" by Avril Lavigne, "Three Days" by Pat Green (isn't new, but on repeat on the stereo at the moment), and "A Moment Like This" by Kelly Clarkson (gotta go for the fellow Texans on the last 2) :)
Posted by: aggiegrrl at September 30, 2002 9:49 PMRemember by BT. Such a beautiful song.
Posted by: Paul at September 30, 2002 9:59 PMDid you ever feel like you are the last one to the party? By the time I get off work (and I am usually on the road) grab a bite and then get down to Monday's Mission, it always feels like everyone has done their's already. But it is still a cool thing to do.
I am kind of ecletic musically, but is it Michelle Branch? I love that girl who plays the piano in the video.
Posted by: John at September 30, 2002 10:17 PMWell my responses are finally up. Didn't really like these questions this time around but that's ok.
Currently my favorite song on the radio is a cover of Echo and The Bunnymen's 'Bedbugs and Ballyhoo' by Seattle band Voyager One on KEXP 90.3 FM
I did it... Now... Favorite tune currently would be "Sea of No Cares" from Great Big Seas new album... take a listen.
Posted by: Desiree at September 30, 2002 11:46 PMI know it's tuesday, but they'll be up in a couple
Posted by: KRis at October 1, 2002 8:14 AMmine are finally up. (I wrote it yesterday but forgot to post it. oOops...)
As far as a favorite new song, I'm alternating between the Dixie Chicks new album Home and anything by John Mayer (album or live shows). I generally don't listen to the radio (can't get reception at work and we never have the stereo on at home) and go with recommendations from various music mailing lists I'm on.
Posted by: gg at October 1, 2002 9:06 AMWhole Again by Atomic Kittens
Posted by: kelly at October 1, 2002 9:56 AMOk, I'm late--but I'm here!
Posted by: Susan at October 1, 2002 1:54 PMmy first time here! :D i know it's tuesday, but i just discovered this. my favorite song at the moment is by the Beatles. is it a crime that it's not new? ^__^
Posted by: marisa at October 1, 2002 10:59 PMIt's a couple days late but HEY, it's UP :)
My fave song on the radio (that hasn't been overplayed yet) is "In a Little While" by Uncle Kracker.
Posted by: Hootress at October 2, 2002 8:07 PMi was on vacation, but it is up now!
Posted by: Alteredboy at October 4, 2002 1:30 AMBetter late than never!! Mine are up!
Favorite new song huh...probably Lonestar "Unusually Unusual".
