Ready? I got an idea I wanna share....

PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.39

1. Who has authority over you?

2. Where do you go to get a feeling of community?

3. What do you do, or have you done, in your life that "goes against the tide?"

4. Guilt can be a powerful weapon. Those who have mastered its power can very good at getting what they want. Have you ever used guilt to get you what you want? Have you ever had it used on you? How did you react?

5. I was walking through the mall Friday night and saw a lot of teenagers who dressed really wild and just acted like idiots - not caring who was looking or what others thought. And I remember being that way, having that kind of freedom. I must have looked like a fool then too. Did you ever do anything in public with your friends as a teenager that you would never do today? Tell me about that.

6. I don't watch the television show "Survivor," but I did notice they allow each contestant to bring one "luxury item" to the deserted island with them (make-up, a book, etc.). If you were to go to an island for three months, what five "luxury items" would you bring and why?

7. If you would have had a choice, in which time period would you have like to have lived? Why?

The local rock station plays Tommy Lee's new song, which is pretty cool, though I can't stand Tommy Lee.

Got mine!

I can't really think of a new song on the radio that I like since the radio has been sucking much lately. Right now I'm listening to the Police's Synchronicity. But if I were to plug someone it would be Erin McKeown. She's fab-a-luss. :)

Mine's up. There's this Kid Rock duet that's highly singable whether in car or shower. I love that song.

I listen to a radio station at work, but never really notice that it's on. But the songs work their way into my subconscious and I start singing them in the shower. But I could not name a particular song.

Mine are up, and they're right here. I don't listen to the radio much anymore, I have a ton of Mix CD's that I listen to to get my 80's fix. Currently, one of my favorite songs is Skee-Lo's I Wish mixed with Eye of the Tiger, and The Breeders Cannonball. It rocks, and you can find it on my site here.

Modern music has just sucked ass lately. That's all there is to it. When this happens, I tend to go backwards and listen to things I never had the time to get into. So, now-a-days, I've been listening to They Might Be Giants quite a bit. I keep getting the song, "Turn Around" in my head. So, I guess if a song from 1992 counts, that's my 2 cents!

I don't know who sings it for sure, but I heard the DJ say Love Child by Must or was it Must by Love Child. I can't find it anywhere so I must have heard it wrong.

I'd go with the song "The Game of Love," by Santana featuring Michelle Branch, but I know within five days I'll be tired of hearing it ALL THE TIME. God bless iPod in the car.

My answers are up... it took me a long time to do these questions in between many other things. Hey, it's multitasking!

As for my favorite song on the radio? I honestly dunno the titles and artists of a lot of the songs I like... I listen to local college radio stations, and they hardly ever tell us any information. There's some great spanish rock they've been playing on KSJS.

mine are up...as for the comment question...I'd have to say there is a tie..."Complicated" by Avril Lavigne, "Three Days" by Pat Green (isn't new, but on repeat on the stereo at the moment), and "A Moment Like This" by Kelly Clarkson (gotta go for the fellow Texans on the last 2) :)

Did you ever feel like you are the last one to the party? By the time I get off work (and I am usually on the road) grab a bite and then get down to Monday's Mission, it always feels like everyone has done their's already. But it is still a cool thing to do.

I am kind of ecletic musically, but is it Michelle Branch? I love that girl who plays the piano in the video.

Currently my favorite song on the radio is a cover of Echo and The Bunnymen's 'Bedbugs and Ballyhoo' by Seattle band Voyager One on KEXP 90.3 FM

As far as a favorite new song, I'm alternating between the Dixie Chicks new album Home and anything by John Mayer (album or live shows). I generally don't listen to the radio (can't get reception at work and we never have the stereo on at home) and go with recommendations from various music mailing lists I'm on.
