So, wondering where the MM is today? Delayed due to extenuating circumstances.
Yeah, you should know to be concerned if you don't see something from me on a Monday morning.
We are having a very nice downpour today. And on the way in I notice my engine temperature gague is cranked to 11. So, I turn around and head home and sure enough, right as I get off the expressway my car stalls at a stop light. I am able to get it off the road but that's about it.
There is a college about a mile from where I am so I start walking and a kindly stranger offers me a ride. Well, yeah I know better but I took her offer and she drove me to the college and I made my calls. I hiked back in the rain to wait for the truck. After he loads up the car I decide to take it to a Mazda dealer service center (I know, but I don't have many options). Drop it off, talk to the guy, he estimates $500 for the water pump replacement, labor, belts and such. I feel ill. Get a ride home and switch cars.
Then try again to drive to in. So, now I am here and totally spent. Not in the best mood, in need of a shoulder rub and warm beverage and yeah, I admit it, a hug or a snuggle - I am really down right now.
So the MM is on the way, but don't expect the most uplifting one ever.
