April 18, 2002Snail Mail in the Digital AgeIt is good to see snail mail has meshed with the Internet so well. Those that said e-mail would kill the Post Office are so wrong. Heck, without it where would we get our stuff from flEa-bay and Buy.com? But it also is essential in the new "Projects" that are popping up. Sure we've all seen the Mirror Project and the Eye Project. But I know there are more more more! Let's take a peek: * The Film Exchange Program - Take a 12 shot 35mm roll and mail it off to a Blogger you don't know. They must develop it, sight unseen and post a web gallery! Sounds fun!! * * The Covers Project - Database of hits "covered" by other bands. * The Feral Show Project - Send in pics of your shoes. Hmm, ok. * The Desktravaganza Project - Take a pic of your computer area and send it in-I loose hours at this site, why does this fascinate me???? * The Live Your Life Project - Make decisions for these UK hipsters. * The Desktop Project - Take a screenshot of your desktop and send it in. [Drat, I've lost the link, if the owner would please post a comment I will update this] I have 2 "Projects" in to start here. I may have to call on the PhotoBlog karate of Christine and Jenn, but I think they would be fun! Posted by on April 18, 2002 @ April 18, 2002 01:57 PM 1 folks had something to say |
