By the way, I made it to bed around 12:30. Doing better, but not where I need to be…

Anyway. AICN led me to lots of fun trailers today.

Van Helsing (WM) This looks very fun, but trailers always make the movie look good. But with Vampires, Werewolves and Frankenstien’s Monster all in one movie, how can it suck?

Passion of Christ (QuickTime) – I admit, I fell for ET’s pimping of this movie all week. All weekend it was “Monday we bring you exclusive scenes from the all new trailer.” So I tune in and what do they do? Show maybe :20 of clips promoting the REAL day they air the trailer, Thursday. They tricked me! Anyway, good news is you can always get the trailers online. So here it is. While it is more polished, I still like the bootleg trailer better – shows much more of the emotions (the 4:00 featurette found here).

Starsky & Hutch (WM) – Well….this will either totally suck or beazingly funny. I didn’t care for Zoolander, but for Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller this one may be a better fit. So go take a look and let me know, and c’mon, show me your belly button!

Shaun of the Dead (Flash) – From the UK Comedy Team that made “Spaced” (I’d like to see that), comes this Zombie Comedy movie. Wonder if this will ever be released in the states? Not unless they find a better media format for their trailer – ugh.

Of all the movies coming this first half of the year, I think HELLBOY (April 2nd, 2004) and PASSION are the two I want to see most. Wow, talk about two ends of the spectrum!

So who is going to see “Butterfly Effect” this weekend? I want a full report, because as bad as it looks, I have a feeling it is pretty good.
