Apparently there is a huge demand for Red Staplers. Something to do with the movie “Office Space” I’ve gathered.
Considering I work in a corporate setting, I probably need to see this movie. I recall that when it was released it was pretty much a flop at the box office. So how come it is such a big deal now?
I feel so out of the loop.

the old story of low budget, indy gets fame after it was releaased 5 years later. It runs on comedy cetral a lot. It is very funy.
The Red Stapler has to do with the olfd Animated short "Milton" on Liquid Television. In fact the whole movie is expanded from that.
You have to watch it to get the importance of the red stapler though. Oh and it HAS to be a Swingline.
I too was out of the loop until just a few weeks ago. Upon the insistance of my friends Steve and I rented it. OH MY GOSH! I laughed my cubicle working ass off the entire time. All I have to say is rent it, watch it, laugh at it and the next time your fax machine jams think of it! Makes life a whole lot more fun!
PROMO! You haven't seen this movie??!! OMG! Go! NOW! Rent it! I didn't quite get it the first time I saw it – but I don't think I was emersed in the tech/cubicle world at the time… now, I can totally relate to it. It's VERY funny!!!
Two words: cult following
Damn it feels good to be a gangsta…
