TiVo Easter Egg – Skip those commercials

C-net is reporting that a hidden command on TiVo remotes allow you to skip past the commercials.

Wanna know it?

The pattern consists of pressing the following buttons in sequence: Select, Play, Select, 3, 0, Select. Entering the same pattern again also deactivates the capability.

Things get Harry in June

Apparently there is some book about a kid named Harry Potter. I hear it is popular? Hm. Seems that the “5th Book” will be released in June 2003.

Much anticipated, and somewhat delayed, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” is 768 pages long, and by word count one-third longer than its predecessor, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” published in 2000.
