More news I’ve read on DVD’s, pass on by if it’s not your bag, baby.

I also read that the “Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within” DVD will be downgraded. “Big Trouble in Little China” will also be downgraded from a 2-DVD set to one.

Seems there will be a “Thelma and Louise” Special Edition as well as a new “Blade Runner” DVD soon, but I haven’t heard anything in a while on those.

“Hard Day’s Night” will be a special edition soon.

“Ed Wood” with commentary from Burton comes out on August 27th.

“Beauty and the Beast” will be a 2-DVD set, and looks to have awesome bonus features in October.

“Monsters, Inc.” will also have a load of extras on September 17th.

I haven’t seen “The Lord of the Rings – The Fellowship of the Ring” but there will be 2 DVD versions of that. One with extra footage edited in and one not, and they both have different extras. Look for them on November 12, and save up your money! Would I like this movie? I never read the books, I might be clueless, y’know?

And “E.T.” comes out in 2 versions – one with the new version, and one Ultimate Collector’s Gift Set with the old and the new version for like $79!!! Bastards! And they will only be on sale for 10 weeks!!! WTF??
