When I first learned about “Easter Eggs” it was with the game “Adventure” for my Atari 2600. Easter Eggs are the hidden treats programmers put in their software (visit EggHeaven for examples).
You had to do all these things and finally you saw the secret message, something like “designed by Warren Robinette.”
I may be wrong, but I think this was the very first videogame Easter Egg.…
